“Guys, if you pick the right year, there are three stones in New York.”
That famous line from Avengers: Endgame isn’t just movie magic. In 2025, New York City really did hold three powerful “stones” of global collaboration:
- the UN General Assembly (UNGA 80),
- the World Economic Forum’s Sustainable Development Impact Meetings (SDIM25), and
- New York Climate Week.
For Robotics Cats, this was our Endgame moment — the right year, the right place, and the right allies to accelerate FireTech innovation.
SDIM25: Collaboration at Scale
From September 22–26, World Economic Forum SDIM25 convened more than 1,000 leaders from government, business, academia, and civil society to fast-track progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Amid discussions on inclusive growth, climate action, and resilience, we connected with:
- insurers seeking better climate-risk modeling and mitigation,
- policymakers designing fire-resilient futures,
- innovators exploring new technologies for environmental protection.
The urgency is clear: in 2024, wildfires drove record tropical forest loss, surpassing agriculture and logging as primary causes of deforestation, while fueling carbon emissions and climate instability.
Digital for Good: ITU & UNDP at the UN
Alongside SDIM25, we joined “Digital for Good: For People and Prosperity” hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and UNDP at the United Nations Headquarters.
This global conversation showcased how inclusive digital transformation is key to sustainable development and human well-being. Robotics Cats contributed to the dialogue by sharing how our AI-powered wildfire detection is already protecting communities and ecosystems worldwide.
Igniting Change: The XPRIZE Wildfire Event
Our journey continued at the XPRIZE Wildfire: Igniting Change event at the Explorers Club.
This gathering united innovators, investors, and partners dedicated to ending destructive wildfires with breakthrough technologies. Representing the Fire Foresight consortium—a partnership of Little Place Labs , Indicium Dynamics , Taz Drone Solutions and Robotics Cats—we showcased our XPRIZE journey and our multi-sensor AI wildfire detection and response solution, now scaling across:
- Australia
- Asia
- South America
- the United States
Like the Avengers, our consortium is a team of extraordinary calibre, each with unique expertise, united by a common mission: end destructive wildfires for good.
