Fire Foresight at AXIS Partner Summit Kuala Lumpur: Advancing Wildfire Management Through Global Collaboration
The Fire Foresight team had the privilege of taking part in the AXIS Partner Summit in Kuala Lumpur between 6th and 9th May 2025. It was an inspiring gathering of technology leaders, solution providers, and industry experts, all focused on building safer, smarter communities. For us, it was a perfect opportunity to share how Fire Foresight is redefining wildfire management through international collaboration and innovation.
Who We Are: The Fire Foresight Partnership
Fire Foresight is a unique collaboration between four forward-thinking companies: Robotics Cats, Indicium Dynamics, Taz Drone Solutions, and Little Place Labs. Each partner brings specialized expertise – AI, machine vision, IoT, drone technology, and satellite analytics. Together, we form a comprehensive, multi-layered approach to wildfire detection, monitoring, and response.
Our vision is simple but ambitious: to detect wildfires earlier, respond more effectively, and minimize the impact of these disasters on people, property, and the environment. By integrating our technologies, we provide a robust solution that covers everything from early detection to rapid situational awareness and even drone-based suppression.
Highlights from the Summit
At the AXIS Partner Summit, we showed how Fire Foresight uses the strengths of each partner. Our team showed how AI-powered analytics, satellite data, and drone operations can work seamlessly with AXIS’s advanced camera infrastructure to create a unified, real-time wildfire management system. This system is already being piloted in diverse environments – from national parks to plantations and energy infrastructure – in Australia. We also shared how our technologies can help AXIS customers add AI wildfire detection to their cameras on demand, enabling them to mitigate wildfire risks instantly.
The summit was not just about technology. We had valuable conversations with Axis partners across the region – from New Zealand to India – and conservation groups about the real-world challenges their customers – government agencies, utilities, property owners – face. These discussions reinforced our belief that wildfire management is not a one-company job. It requires the combined efforts of experts across disciplines and geographies.
Looking Forward
Our participation in the AXIS Partner Summit marks another step forward for Fire Foresight. As recent qualifiers in the $11M XPRIZE Wildfire Challenge, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in wildfire prevention and response.
