RoboticsCats Go Austria Spring 2022

It is our honor that RoboticsCats is one of the 17 Asia deep tech startups participating in the Go Austria Spring 2022 program organized by Global Incubator Network Austria (GIN). I will join the other entrepreneurs to visit Vienna this June to meet potential customers and business partners in Austria and Europe.

Go Austria program helps Asia startups to explore the Austrian and European markets and to find new collaboration partners and/or investors. GIN’s mission is to connect Austrian and international startups, investors, incubators, and accelerators. GIN focuses on selected hotspots in Asia (Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Mainland China, Singapore, and South Korea) and best startups in the Energy, Smart Cities, Mobility, ClimateTech, AgTech, HealthTech, and Fintech sectors. There is a Go Asia program that helps Austrian startups to explore the Asia market and collaborations with Asia companies.

Europe is an important market to RoboticsCats. We’re serving customers in Portugal, Greece, and Spain. We are working with our partners to develop the Italy and Turkey markets. Austria is in center of Europe and we are interested to do more businesses in the country. Thank the Austrian Trade Commission in Hong Kong for their advice and support, we are selected to participate in this year’s Go Austria program and have the privilege to visit Vienna and meet customers and partners in one of the most beautiful cities in the world this spring.

One major asset of the program is the personal startup mentor who will be matched to each startup, supporting it to validate its business model, network with investors and relevant stakeholders, and design an internationalization plan. Our mentor is Ms. Elisaweta Penewa Petrow. I’ve been working for the Go Austria program with her since late March. She is very friendly and helpful. She prefers me to call her Eli, just like how her friends call her. She studied microbiology and genetics at the university. She started her profession in the pharmaceutical industry. After great success in the medicinal drug sector, she changed her career to executive search and life coach. Her pivotal journey is very inspiring. It fascinates me to listen to her sharing about vaccine development. It is interesting to learn from Eli how she helps her clients to advance their careers from country to country. I am very lucky to have the privilege of being her mentee!

Besides working with mentors, there were online programs to help the startups to do business in Austria and prepare for the coming Vienna visit. We worked together in the online programs. We learned more about each others in the group activities. We are making innovations in AI, robotics, drones, IoT, biotech, BIM, and cyber security. I am proud to join them as cohorts!

Guten Morgen. Grϋß Gott. Danke.

The cultural training session was very useful. I can say some German now:D

I am looking forward to the Austria trip. It will be a very productive one!

Please contact us at info@roboticscats.com if you want to meet RoboticsCats in Vienna, between 1st and 10th June 2022.

I am lucky working in the ICT industry in the past 20 years to collaborate with colleagues, partners and customers to use technologies to change the way we work, live, play and learn! I have strong interests in cloud computing, AI and information security. “It is the technologies marry with liberal arts, marry with the humanities, that yields us the result that makes our hearts sing!”
